We would like to inform you that we will be closed all day on Friday, 24 April.
In addition, on Sunday afternoon, 26 April, we will close one hour earlier than usual, at 4:00 pm instead of 5:00 pm. This is due to the busy preparations in Utrecht city centre for the King’s Day celebrations.
As you might know, on King's Day we, the Dutch, celebrate our King Willem Alexander's birthday with nationwide flea markets, parties, music festivals and a massive public display of the colour orange, celebrating national unity and the royal family. It’s a wonderful mix of community spirit, creativity, and fun!
If you happen to be in Utrecht, we would highly recommend to put on something orange and taking a stroll through the city centre and soaking up the atmosphere - it’s something quite unlike anything else.
